Olivia Urquhart, M.P.H. is Associate Director for Health Care Guidelines and Instructor at the Center for Integrative Global Oral Health at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. In this role, she leads the development of oral health living guidelines in collaboration with the American Dental Association (ADA).
Prior to joining Penn Dental Medicine in September 2022, she served as lead data analyst and clinical practice guideline methodologist in the Department of Evidence Synthesis and Translation Research at the ADA's Science & Research Institute for six years. During her tenure at the ADA, she authored numerous oral health systematic reviews and clinical practice guidelines targeting general dental practitioners.
Olivia earned her Master of Public Health with a specialization in epidemiology from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in 2016 and served as a member of the birth defects surveillance research team at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities.
