Dr. Tara Aghaloo D.D.S., M.D., Ph.D. is Professor and Residency Program Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the UCLA School of Dentistry. She completed her dental training at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency, M.D. and Ph.D. in Oral Biology at UCLA. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Aghaloo currently serves on the ADA Council of Scientific Affairs and was a member of the ADA Acute Pain Panel. She is also the Associate Editor for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Past-President of the Academy of Osseointegration (AO). She also maintains a busy clinical oral and maxillofacial surgery practice.
