LaQuia Walker Vinson is a Professor at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, Department of Pediatric Dentistry. She is the Program Director for the postgraduate residency program in Pediatric Dentistry as well as on the Craniofacial Anomalies Team at Riley Hospital for Children: where she has been providing pediatric dental care at Riley Hospital for Children for over 20 years. LaQuia graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and has a certificate in pediatric dentistry from the University of Illinois, Chicago, College of Dentistry where she completed her Master’s in Public Health in Public Health Informatics as well. Board certified in her specialty, Dr. Walker Vinson serves in various capacities in many national and international dental organizations including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Education Association, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA), and the American Cleft Palate Association.
