Kent T. Ochiai, D.D.S., Ph.D. is Maxillofacial Prosthodontist and Sports Dentist. Dr. Ochiai received his dental and speciality training at USC and he completed is maxillofacial prosthetic residency at UCLA Medical Center. He was appointed as a Clinical Professor (Adjunct), Restorative Dentistry, Sports Dentistry at the Ostrow USC School of Dentistry in 2011. As a member of the ADA Standards Committee on Dental Products and US-Consensus Body Advisory Groups, Dr. Ochiai serves as Chair, 9.68 CAD/CAM Guided Surgical Devices and Maxillofacial Prosthetics and also Chair, WG 9.87 CAD/CAM Sports Mouth Protectors for the American Dental Association. Dr. Ochiai is ADA Certified Clinical Director and works with the USOPC as Dental Liaison. He also serves a Member of the Board of Directors for the Academy for Sports Dentistry (USA). Dr. Ochiai's research interests include advanced implant dentistry, prosthodontics, dental materials science, occlusion and sports dentistry. Dr. Ochiai maintains a private practice in Tustin, California. Dr. Ochiai serves as an advisor and co-director for Sports Dentistry at the Ostrow USC School of Dentistry.
