Dr. Wei-Shao Lin, D.D.S., M.S.A.I., M.B.A., Ph.D., F.A.C.P., is a tenured professor and Chair of the Department of Prosthodontics at the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he also serves as Co-Chair of the ITI Scholarship Center. An exceptionally accomplished clinician-educator-innovator, Dr. Lin earned his D.D.S. from Chung-Shan Medical University in Taiwan (2003), completed a prosthodontics certificate and surgical implant fellowship at the University of Rochester (2010), and later pursued advanced education in educational leadership and organizational development (Ph.D., University of Louisville, 2020), healthcare administration (M.B.A., University of Southern Indiana, 2022) and artificial intelligence (M.S.A.I., University of the Cumberlands, 2025).
A Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, Dr. Lin has authored more than 140 peer-reviewed research and clinical articles. He serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Prosthodontics and maintains an active implant and prosthodontics practice at the Center for Implant, Esthetic, and Innovative Dentistry at Indiana University.
